Note: Federal law limits the size of Wheelchairs and Scooters on Public transit vehicles; Maximum length is 48 inches on all vehicles.
(this is the maximum length transit companies are required to build vehicles to accomodate) If you are unsure if your scooter or wheelchair will fit easily, most transit companies will arrange for mobility training at their transit center on an empty bus.
